An extremely rugged suppressor, the HX-QD® 556 – updated with our newly designed flash cap – is built with patented and proven OSS Flow-Through® technology, delivers hearing safe mid-130s dB and zero flash performance, is full-auto rated, easily passes the USSOCOM Reliability Stress Test, and has no minimum barrel restrictions – it’s the ideal suppressor for all 5.56 rifles.
Utilizing our new Geo Flash Mitigation Technology that HX-QD 556 TI eliminates virtually all flash. And unlike other 556 titanium suppressors, the HX-QD 556 Ti has a stainless-steel core that delivers durability in excess of 40,000 rounds vs. full titanium suppressors that last a fraction of that.
Materials & Finish: Unlike traditional suppressors that trap gas in dead ends, OSS Flow-Through® technology redirects and controls expanding gases forward through a serpentine path of nested tubes, allowing us to use 17-4 stainless steel deflectors in the core and Grade 5 and Grade 9 Titanium everywhere else. The result is an extremely durable titanium suppressor. The HX-QD 556ti has a fully-welded body coated with C-series high temperature Cerakote®.
Sound Pressure Levels: The HX-QD 556 is the optimal choice for the widest range of 5.56 caliber rifles. Sound pressure levels are measured at the shooter’s ear to comply with current military specifications:
- 130 – 134 dB on 20” AR15 DI using commercial grade 55 gr ammo
- 133 – 137 dB on 16” AR15 DI using commercial grade 55 gr ammo
- 138 – 142 dB on 10.5” AR15 DI using commercial grade 55 gr ammo
Compatible with Muzzle Brake-QD 556 and Flash Hider-QD 556.
